It has brass eyelets on the seat and a brass shield that is stamped "12 inch seat" One of the circular leather "safes" is stamped "Ladew 1918" The saddle has a pair of wooden stirrups with leather covers these are stamped "US" There are areas of surface crackling on the leather and the stitching around the underside has come apart over a 4 inch length, but it is in good condition for its age Ref : saddle065
