Silver Chuckram, Travancore, 1700s-early 1800s Silver 50 paise coin of IndiaSilver 1 chuckram coin of the Kingdom of Travencore, minted from 1700s to early 1800s. The obverse carries a crescent with diamond above and two curved lines and ten pellets below believed to be a representation of the feet of Lord Vishnu. The reverse has a crescent with 12 pellets representing the 12 zodiac symbols. These coins may have been minted during the reign of Martanda Varma (1729 58) or Gouri Laxmi Bayi (1811 15), or some of the other rulers
